On Wednesday, September 4, we attended the garden walk at Boerner Botanical Garden.
The topic was herbs.
The guide was Peggy Zautke, Milwaukee County horticulturist.
There is an eclectic collection of herbs at Boerner, and the guide talked about many of them, but there was not time to talk about all of them.
Included was elderberry, herb of the year for 2013.
The guide has a tremendous knowledge of herbs and their uses.
Counts as 1.0 MGV continuing education hour.
