Cherokee Chief

We have admired the red-flowered dogwood in the garden at the southeast corner of Parkview and 120th for several years.

I learned today from the gardener that it is Cherokee Chief.

Dogwood are beautiful when in bloom, we have a white one next to our porch and also enjoy the birds that love the berries on this tree.
