Recent plantings

136 Daffodil bulbs

48 Grape Hyacinth bulbs

A total of 184, far short of the 395 bulbs I planted last fall, but there is a lot of planting time remaining.

    How many of last fall's 395 bulbs are going to come back this spring?

    The net yield should be 90% +, if you consider the increase of those that are thriving.

    There will be some losses, of course, but there also should be some offsets (new bulblets).

    And there will be a shift in species, with more loss among tulips, and more gain among daffodils.
